Toulouse is located in the south west of France. It is the fourth french city in terms of population (after Paris, Marseille and Lyon). There are 870.000 inhabitants in its area. It is well known for its Airbus facilities.

The area around Toulouse is quite flat so flying can look a bit boring for people not familiar with the area. But going south you will quickly reach the Pyrenées mountains, much more interesting (100 km). Going West you will reach the Atlantic Ocean (300 km) and Est the Mediterrenean sea (150 km).
